Description of Campground
Come visit Hickory Springs Campground and bring along
your horses. We are located on 60 acres of land with horse trails through
wooded areas and along some fields. While you are riding be sure to take
advantage of the sounds of nature and see how many of the springs you can
find.
We offer horse camping
in a wooded area and have a creek through the property. We have a restroom
and shower facility and offer 30 amp electric hook-ups.
The campground is a 1/4
mile off the the county road a mere 4 miles east of Attica on Bethel Road.
The Badlands Off Road
4x4, ATV and motor cycle riding is a short distance from Hickory Springs
Campground.
All Badlands guests are
required to keep their units on trailers while staying at Hickory Springs.
We do not allow golf carts, ATV's, 4-wheelers or motorcycles to operate on
our property. (They spook the horses!)
There is no need to
have a Horse to camp here, though we do not offer Horse Stables or horse
rentals. The atmosphere is friendly and you can enjoy some beautiful views
of nature.
We have a limited number of hook-ups
so reservations are strongly suggested.
